The Unique Children Foundation (UCL) was founded and registered in the United Kingdom in the year 2008 by Mrs. Olafunke Omoniyi who is the Chairperson of the orgainsation.
Our mission is advocating for the well being of the disabled children
Our vision is of a world where all disabled children have access to education to enable them to fulfil their potential, to live positive, healthy lives and contribute to the development of the communities in which they live.
Education is a basic human right, vital to personal and societal development and well being. All children deserve a quality education founded on a rights-based approach and rooted in the concept of gender equality. A rights-based approach to education will address inequalities in our societies that are deep-rooted and often gender-based. Such inequalities exclude millions of children, particularly disabled children, from school or condemn them to educational experiences of very poor quality.
